	02/12/2002 -- i bought a 1997 golf with 53k miles yesterday. here it is in my driveway, with my old dodge colt on the street behind it. it's a k2, with roof racks and butt warmers. comments (2)
	a head-on view. after i get it maryland state inspected, i'll get maryland tags. i bought it down in tyson's corner, so it has 30-day virginia tags for now. comments (0)

	02/28/2002 -- it turned out that the car needed a new transmission. i left it at russel vw. they said it would take "a couple of days". today makes two weeks. they just decided last night that maybe they need to give me this rental car. sorry about the photo; i should have gone out and taken it before the shadow moved over it. comments (0)
