02/28/2002 -- it turned out that the car needed a new transmission. i left it at russel vw. they said it would take "a couple of days". today makes two weeks. they just decided last night that maybe they need to give me this rental car. sorry about the photo; i should have gone out and taken it before the shadow moved over it.
