pacific coast hiway

the first surfers i spotted. the taking-photos-from-the-car thing is getting out of hand -- i had run out of pch at this point and had to get on interstate 5 for a while. this was taken from the on ramp with the camera not held to my eye, hence surfers on just the far right of the scene.

so i'm going forward and the truck is going forward and there's a reflection showing the road moving away from me while there's an image of me moving forward across the going-away road, and... this was not good for someone already tired.

i snapped this expecting to label it "home at last", but there was no room at the inn. no room at the motel 6 down the road, either. i ended up at travelodge, paying more than i wanted for a microwave i didn't use. grr.
