jeffcovey.net -- boordy vineyards

11/06/2005 -- we planned to go to frederick to see the fall color, but when i got online and looked at an events calendar, i saw that boordy vineyards was offering "soups in the cellar", and we decided to give it a try. it was a short drive, just north of the city, but in the middle of a pleasant countryside. we got to see where harford road goes after it crosses the beltway, and saw plenty of autumn leaves as we went through gunpowder falls state park.

	i had envisaged that we would be two of a few people sipping soup in a basement, but these three parking attendants were the first sign that something bigger was in store. comments (0)

	the barn in the middle is where we'll be eating and drinking. the path around the left side of it leads to a patio and the entrance to the cellar, which holds a shop selling wine, shirts, hats, trinkets, etc. comments (0)
