2. the savings account has been dwindling as i've been keeping money in the checking account to cover bills. i just got around to reviewing my savings account, and found that if i don't keep 500.00 in it, i have to pay this 3.00 fee each month. that's insane when i'm only making 0.04 in interest on it each month. even if i had a lot of money in it, i'd only be making 1% interest, vs. 1.8% in my domini money market account or 5% in a federal note. i've closed the account. this is a great example of losing money through simply not paying attention; for years, there's been no reason for me to have this account. i just set it up in 1989 because that's what the lady at the bank suggested, and for 13 years, i haven't even thought about whether it's serving me or i'm serving it. terrible.

3. this is one of the two domains i have registered through yahoo! domains. i should switch them to dotster, like the rest; dotster only charges 15.00.

4. 54.99 -- replacement screen for the visor. bad me for dropping it, but good me for installing a piece of replacement glass myself instead of paying 100.00 for a new visor. 83.99 -- 8-port switch. i'll be getting a 30.00 rebate on this.
