as threatened, i’ve begun moving my personal website to wordpress. (and quite liking it!) i was happy to see that wordpress will nicely overlay the existing site, so all the old urls will continue to work while i gradually import pages and set up redirections for them. if you need something that’s not linked here, go to the old site tree, and you can use the previously-existing site from there.

while in the neighborhood, i’ve added a couple of personal items for
friends:

• a brief bio page for catching up with many long-lost friends i’ve re-encountered lately.
• a summary of the drama that’s unfolded with my family this summer.
